Vainglory Hidden Stats

There are many stats not shown in-game.
We know rock’s decree gives a barrier to nearby allies, but in what range?
Lance’s A has some delay prior to hit, how long is it?
Can Krul lifesteal from the CP damage he does with the passive lifesteal from B?
This page exist to answer these questions!

We’ll update whenever we find some new info. You can report something missing in our discord server!

This page is also used for clarifications, if we notice a certain question is asked very often on social networks (such as whether Caine’s skills can crit or not, or if Churnwalker perk can be increased through capacitor plate) we’ll also add this kind of information too.

Adagio’s A won’t apply Mortal Wound through spellfire if the target is too distant. Even though he still gets the burned by Arcane Fire, you won’t apply mortal wound. Instead, if the target is closer, you’ll burn AND apply mortal wound.

Activating this skill completely resets the basic attack cooldown. Attack cooldown is not reset immediately. It is reset after the first shot is fired, so you can fire another shot immediately.

Jump Jets reduces the base attack delay of the first two attacks fired after 2.1 seconds of landing from 0.5 to 0.2 seconds. After the first shot is fired, Baron’s attack cooldown is reset, allowing him to immediately shoot another missile.

Caine’s bullets will apply basic attack effects. This mean A and C (which fire a bullet) can apply basic attack effects too, by example these skills can trigger Tension Bow or apply aftershock, or bonesaw stacks. However, Caine’s abilities can NOT perform a critical hit, only his basic attacks.

Reflect any damage above 7.5% of maximum base health before considering armor/shield reduction. Let’s say an hero with 800 damage hits Catherine during B at level 12. Catherine will only take 200 damage, which is then further reduced by the amount of armor/shield she owns.
Therefore, differently from what some might think, more armor/shield does not make her B less effective.

Boomstick’s cooldown is reduced by attack speed just as attack cooldown is. Stutter-stepping while trying to fire a Boomstick shot with every basic attack you deal will not grant a damage boost. This is because the cooldown of Boomstick is set and is not decreased by stutter-stepping. However, this does not mean that you shouldn’t stutter-step! You still gain the benefit of moving around between shots.

The delay before Glimmershot arrows reload is similar to Thunder Strike—it is reduced by attack speed. However, Glimmershot’s scaling has a 50% multiplier and its cooldown is NOT affected by Atlas.
Formula for Glimmershot’s reload time:
Base Reload Time/(1+bonus attack speed*0.5)

Clarifications
As the arrow hit the first target on its path, you can body block it.
However, the arrow then explodes dealing AOE damage
In short, the weapon damage portion of the skill is body blockable, while the crystal damage portion of the skill is not.

Lyra’s BAT is 0.7 (attack cooldown) + 0.3 (attack delay) + 0.2 (no stutter step penalty), which is 1.2 seconds in total.
If Lyra chooses to unleash a light-heavy basic attack combo, her BAT will be so: 0.3 (attack delay of light attack) + 0.9 (attack delay of heavy attack) + 0.2 (no stutter step penalty). In addition, Lyra’s next attack is placed on an increased cooldown of 1.2 (up from 0.7). This means that stutter-stepping provides only an 8.33% damage boost (down from 20%) if light-heavy combo is used.

Aftershock

Clarifications
The damage from aftershock is crystal damage, so it can be reduced by shield. Shield pierce will increase the damage from aftershock (because it makes you bypass a portion of the enemy’s shield) and thus the lifesteal.

Bonesaw

If your hero can basic attack multiple heroes (aoe basic, like Baron, Glaive, Leo), you will NOT get any bonesaw stack on the additional targets, but exclusively on your main target (the guy you’re clicking on)

Clarifications
This item provides 10% armor shred per stack (max 5 stacks, so 50% pierce) and 20% armor pierce. This is equivalent to 60% armor pierce at max stacks, not 70%, because the 20% armor pierce is calculated after the armor shred.

Armor shred lowers the target armor, this mean his armor will be lowered for everyone, so everyone will do more WP damage to him. Armor pierce makes you ignore a portion of the enemy’s armor (or shield, if it’s shield pierce) so only you will do more damage to the target.

Capacitor Plate

If the healing as a cap, such as in the case of Ardan’s perk (no more than 75% of the damage taken) or Reim (which can not have more than 40% of his max health fortified from his perk)

Clarifications
Capacitor will increase any form of healing, lifesteal, base health regeneration, fortified health, and barriers.

Clarifications
Even if your basic attacks do CP damage, you will not be able to apply frostburn’s passive, which can ONLY be triggered by ability damage.
This means damage from Alternating Current, Idris’s CP attacks, Celeste basic attacks, Petal munions won’t be able to trigger frostburn.

Crystal Power Orb

It’s dropped by the Crystal Treant

  • Lasts 90 seconds
  • Crystal damage is increased by 15%
  • Crystal damage now lifesteals for 10% of the damage dealt
  • If the bearer of this orb is killed, the orb will be given to the killer.

Weapon Power Orb

It’s dropped by the Weapon Treant

  • Lasts 90 seconds
  • Basic attacks on enemies will apply a decaying slow to them starting at 35% for 2 seconds
  • Weapon damage is increased by 15%
  • If the bearer of this orb is killed, the orb will be given to the killer.

River

Flow Movespeed Bonus: 0.5
Does not cancels upon attacking enemy heroes

Friend List

The friend list is capped at 500 friends. If you try to add someone, you’ll receive a message saying their friend list is full.

Matchmaker

At 8:00m of queue you will usually get a match in Ranked 5v5 and 3v3. In very rare cases the queue might continue all the way to 8:40. However, very often you’ll find a match right at 8:00. Not sure about the reasons, but this has been confirmed to be the case by many players and our tests.
