*Vainglory servers run at 10 tickrate; thus, all numbers related to time are rounded up to the nearest tenth. Client-side, time is tracked precisely, so any time lost by rounding will be made up for with an extra basic attack once enough lost time accumulates.

Perk

Keen Eye stacks lasts for 5 seconds. Stacks lasts 10 seconds on unguarded targets.

A

A channel time is 0.5 seconds.

Miho becomes "invulnerable" during A.

As Miho is teleporting to a place, she can pass through Lyra's B (clarification).

While you tap the direction for each slash, click repeatedly B (as if you were to reactivate the skill), this way you can do each slash much more quickly. Video example: https://www.reddit.com/r/vainglorygame/comments/exlen5/for_all_you_miho_players_who_wants_to_apply/

Counters

General

Difficulty - Medium

Mostly played in the role of bot laner, and often top laner.

Strengths

Fast wave clear

Safe laning phase (A is great to escape ganks and C can block all projectiles(caine ult and A/ringo ult/kestrel A)

Utility (Stun in the perk, and your ult blocks all damage from ranged carries and abilities from mages(malene/magnus/skarf/skye/warhawk)

High poke damage with crystal build

Good trades with weapon power builds (B for stacks then hit for barrier)

High sustain with a Serpent Mask (using B on a minion wave will get you back to full health quick)

Weaknessess

Easily countered with cc and crucible/reflex block, especially as WP

As a top laner - not a tank so if you make even 1 mistake you can lose your turret in 5 minutes since the enemy jungler will likely be camping you

Power Spikes

Level 8 (B overdrive as CP, A overdrive as WP)
Level 12 as CP (Overdrive A)

Counters

Adagio - As CP he will bully you in lane unless you have a good jungler

Blackfeather: his C can negate all your stacks and he has a stronger barrier

Glaive can stun you out of B. Due to his lifesteal he will usually win 1V1 against WP Miho.

Grumpjaw - can snowball lane phase

Malene - can easily avoid Ken Stacks and/or Miho's damage through dark B, root and burst her down.

Lance - his CC can easily shut down Miho's engages, by stunning and rooting you after you use your A

Weak Against

Caine - lane phase is hard against him due to his high poke damage

Kestrel - lane phase is hard against him due to his high poke damage

Lorelai - her ultimate can be used to save a carry from the burst and stun, and she can proceed by stunning you with A (or potentially predict where you will teleport and stun you there), and slowing you.

You can try and position behind minions to negate their poke but in these 2 match ups you have to play very smart

Counters

Miho is strong against most squishy heroes due to her massive burst damage, barrier and stun. Check the counters tab for the few squishy heroes that perform well against miho throughout the game or during the lane phase

Miho top should only be played if you have 2 tanks at least (jungler and captain). Works well in any tanks composition.

Miho wp is only good with teams who are cc heavy and have abilities to bait enemy crucibles (lance/adagio/grace/san feng/tony/yates/churnwalker/catherine) or just generally have a lot of hard cc for her to safely land her stacks and engage
She also needs tanks that are known for their engages cause miho will be in the thick of the enemy team most of the time so she needs engage tanks to engage with her like grace/lance/san feng/catherine/tony

Swan - T10 Silver, EU

Tips against specific heroes

San Feng - Bait his A by landing your B in a different direction than him, so that he will waste his A. Then you can apply Keen Eye stacks on him.

WP Miho

Pros: -Safe laner cause of A -Fast clear(A and B) -Good trading(B for stacks then hit for barrier) -High sustain with a sm(using B on a minion wave will get u back to full health quick) High scaling Cons: -Very very easily countered(ur useless without ur ult which will be blocked by cruci all the time) and thus making u useless all game(u will need a very good team to help u) -Squishy as hell for a melee hero(melee needs to be a little tanky and miho can be burst down rlly fking quick) Hard counters: Glaive(just dont pick miho into glaive, his high sustain is a nightmare and he can stun u out of ur B) Grumpjaw(the nightmare of all botlanes nothing more to add) Adagio(if he is cp then u lost lane as he will just bully the hell out of u unless u have a good jungler but if he is utility then 50 50) Bf(also a fking nightmare to play against as he has high poke and a way stronger barrier than urs and his ult negates all ur stacks)

Soft counters: All supports have cc so they soft counter u but u have sustain with a sm so not much of a threat Gameplay: U spike at 8 and continue scaling so much after 8 (max A at 8) Ur a botlane so just farm farm farm,u will be against tanks so ur kill potential is low unless jungler is ganking which will happen a lot so set up ur stacks in advance to stun the enemy Start with book and blade and clear ur barrier first(u wont take any damage while clearing it if u start with ur B) And just farm farm farm but since u have a bit of a faster clear than the tanks u can try and rotate to mid to put some pressure Just make sure enemy top doesnt counter rotate or the jungler too Since ur bot u wont be ganked a lot but keep vision and be careful on the minimap in case of enemy mid rotates to u but u will be a bit safer cause u have ur jungler always near u so use this to ur advantage by trying to rotate and help ur jungler out Get ur first 2 items then infuse and look for a tf Ur ult will be ur main engage but try and cast it where the enemy doesnt have vision so they dont just auto block it And even with no vision some supports have lightning fast reflexes so u can either do the vision trick or just wait for ur tanks to bait enemy crucible then use ur ult Just try to hold onto ur ult for as long as u could so that u guarantee it lands Then just engage with ur overdrive A and deal as much damage as u can to the entire enemy team while focusing their carries ofc Ur team should be quick behind u to finish them off, just time ur A right to avoid as much damage and cc as possible and keep a reflex ready with u just in case u need to block cc from someone This is how u will mostly play the entire game

Taking objectives with ur jungler or splitpushing or looking to start a tf when u have an infuse In tf ur goal is to kill the carry as miho is an assassin But if u cant reach him cause ur ult got blocked then try and dont engage till u have full focus then start using ur B to get ur stacks and start the tf U can either max A and B since a max B will have a 3 sec cd and u will rely on it more for landing stacks than ur ult Or max A and ult since a lvl 3 ult has 10 sec less cd than a lvl 2 one and every sec of cd counts since u will want ur ult always up in tf even if enemy blocks by cruci cause ur ult is a very good crucible bait and ur tanks will be able land their cc which is more important I generally go wih A and ult cause ur B costs too much focus so u wont be able to spam it as u like Items: There are 2 item paths If ur having a good game and ur way ahead then u should go with a 1 shot build to guarantee that enemy carries are useless all game Sm,bs and double monocle with an aegis and halcyon With the amount of crit u do ur sm will always keep u at full health so u wont be burst down easily and u will 1 shot carries and sometimes even tanks will melt but this is only if ur jungler and team is helping u snowball If its an average game and ur not that far ahead then standard sustain build(sm,bs,bp,aegis, husk, chargers) It will make u a bit tankier and deal good damage Counter items: Aegis, cruci, reflex and any item with mortal wound Cruci and the likes block all ur stacks and miho wp needs her stacks to deal damage to enemies and get a barrier as to be not burst down Miho barrier scales with wp so mortal wounds will make her barrier weaker

Good with: Miho wp is only good with teams who are cc heavy and have abilities to bait enemy crucibles(lance/adagio/grace/san feng/tony/yates/churnwalker/catherine) or just generally have a lot of hard cc for her to safely land her stacks and engage She also needs tanks that are known for their engages cause miho will be in the thick of the enemy team most of the time so she needs engage tanks to engage with her like grace/lance/san feng/catherine/tony

CP Miho

.Pros: -very fast wave clear(will help u rotate to mid more) -very high poke damage(if u land all 4 slashes that's 3/4 of enemy carry health gone) -safe laner(u have an A charge to be escape ganks and ur ult can block all projectiles(caine ult and A/ringo ult/kestrel A) -U have good utility like other toplaners(Stun/and ur ult blocks all damage from ranged carries and abilities from mages(malene/magnus/skarf/skye/warhawk) . Cons: -Not a tank so if u make even 1 mistake u can lose ur turret in 5 mins cause jungler will be camping u a lot -easily countered with cc and crucible/reflex block .Hard Counters: -Glaive is a big fking redflag(he will just stun u out of ur B)(Just dont pick miho into a glaive) -bf also counters u rlly hard cause his ult can negate all ur stacks and he has a way stronger barrier(dont pick miho into a bf carry) .Soft counters: Caine and kestrel(Their poke damage is just a pain in the ass)(u can always try and position behind minions to negate their poke tho but they still have tons of poke so in these 2 matchups u have to play very smart)

.Gameplay U spike at 8 and 12(Max B at 8 and Max A at 12) Ur gonna start with either weapon blade and book or book and armor depending on ur comfortability against ur matchup. If ur against ur soft counters u will need to play passive till u get ur heavy prism and eclipse prism, once u get them,u can poke them pretty hard and force them to go back and stay under turret If ur against glaive/bf just play passive and forget ever winning ur lane unless u get help from ur mid/jungler. Once u get ur first item u can start rotating cause it will take u like 1 sec to clear entire minion waves Rotate to ur mid if theyre having a tough time and provide some pressure and maybe even get a kill with ur ult then rotate back to ur top and clear the entire wave in 1 sec again(always make sure u know where enemy jungler is tho cause u don't want ur rotation to be countered by him or him and bot just pushing and taking down ur turret) Rinse and repeat If ur mid is winning tho Just pressure the enemy bot as much as u can(freeze and deny cs),u deal so much fking damage that they will always need jungler to unfreeze and if jungler is ganking ur bot u can hard push and pressure him even more Just know ur limits and try not to use ur A unless ur sure it will give u a kill Once laning phase is over, ur role in teamfights becomes like a mage/assassin Ur ult can be used as a crucible bait for ur tanks to land their cc or u can use it to negate other abilities like caine/celeste/kestrel/ringo Just poke from the back and only use ur A if the enemy has 3 stacks and ur sure that it can give u a kill or maybe stun an important ability like skarf ult/or kensei ult To be able to do this u will need to max ur A

As i said ur ult is only a crucible bait cause in high tier it will always get blocked by crucible So i generally max B first then A cause it will provide much needed mobility and having extra A charges will make u more aggressive and way more dangerous and if u dive and time ur A right u can deal all ur damage while taking only minimal amounts If an enemy becomes unguarded they take 15% more damage from u whether it is Cp or Wp so always try to abuse this even in tf

Items Spellfire always first item If enemy carries rush some cp defense then buy broken myth second if not then shatterglass 2nd and broken myth 3rd In high tier ur too squishy so u will need 2 defense items. An aegis is mandatory cause cc is ur biggest weakness and the 2nd defense depends on their comp but it will be husk most of the time and chargers as usual for ur boots Fb u dont need cause ur mid will likely have one and u don't need CD so clockwork is useless .Counter items: Reflex block/aegis/crucible Imagine a hero countered by such cheap items lol All of these can block ur B or ult stacks and without ur perk ur not as good even if ur cp But u should only worry about this if ur in a 1v1 If in tf and ur poking from far it's always good to bait other cruci/reflex for ur tanks to land their cc Good with: Miho top should only be played if u have 2 tanks at least(jungler and captain) If ur jungler went damage jungler then miho may not be the best pick Miho is good with all and i mean all tanks and all comps cause she is so flexible

A(always max it whether cp or wp)- ur invincible thru it but it needs timing cause it has a 0.5 sec channel time so in these 0.5 sec u can be rooted or stunned so always time it perfectly and u will mostly take minimal damage most of the time, also u dash the full ability distance so be careful not to use it when ur already in melee range of enemy cause u will dash far away from them and lose all ur engage, also try only using it if enemy has 3 stacks for a big burst and because it resets on overdrive , aslo u can A while taking damage from turret and under turret to make turret switch targets and not target u B-ur main ability to apply stacks(max if cp)it costs 25 focus per slash so u will need at least 3 slashes for full stacks or u can just do 2 slashes and use ur A to apply the 3rd one as 2 slashes only will give u enough focus to instant cast ult after but it depends on the situation as mostly using it to apply all 3 stacks is better Ult- ur 2nd most important ability but 9/10 times it will be blocked by a crucible so u need to be very flexible with it, as a crucible bait,it blocks all projectiles so u can block celeste ult/krul ult and other heavy damage dealing abilities or ranged carry basic attacks or if ur lucky u can land it and apply 3 stacks to all enemy team and completely melt them but every game is different so u have to be rlly flexible and creative with it
